Rest Acres Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy in Paris seeking a part-time or full-time Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Assistant to become part of our team. We are open to applications from pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians. Currently looking for someone available weekdays as well as rotating Saturdays. We are not open in the evenings or on Sunday. We can be flexible with scheduling. Our hours allow for a excellent work/life balance. We do not have the pressure of large pharmacy chains. Qualifications: Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy is preferred. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills.

Schedule: Includes day shifts (no evenings) Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday (10am-4pm)

Responsibilities:




Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
Manage inventory by stocking shelves and tracking medication supplies
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness under supervision
Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on medication useage
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient information
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of medications
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
