Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
Follow established recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure quality standards are met
Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist with food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts




Support food service staff by ensuring timely meal preparation and delivery
Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to promote a protected working environment

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchens preferably experience in assisted living
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Excellent skills in meal preparation and food industry best practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced setting
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and sanitation procedures
Passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences that satisfy guests’ expectations
