Azul, Toronto’s new Mexican Concept is looking for Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our growing team.

New an innovative approach to QSR (quick service restaurant) with a solid focus on authenticity, freshness, and the pursuit of excellence in everything we do.

Experience in Mexican cuisine or QSR is preferred but not required.

This location operates Monday to Sunday, and Holidays

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and care
Cook dishes according to recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure a secure kitchen environment
Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness




Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper sanitation and temperature controls
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing meal preparation tasks
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and uphold our restaurant’s reputation

Skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Solid understanding of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
Ability to follow recipes accurately and execute meal preparation efficiently
Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude in supporting kitchen operations
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques preferred
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all tasks

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
