Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Italian Cuisine Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting authentic Italian dishes for banquet events, ensuring each meal meets high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation. Your expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Italian dishes for banquet service, including pasta, risottos, sauces, and other specialty items
Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
Assist in meal planning and portioning to meet event requirements and guest expectations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols
Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate meal preparation and timely delivery during banquet events
Monitor food quality during preparation and adjust seasoning or presentation as needed




Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and maintaining proper storage procedures

Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook within a restaurant or catering environment, preferably with a focus on Italian cuisine
Robust knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes
Experience with serving large groups in banquet or catering settings
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent skills in food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen organization
Previous experience working in the food industry or restaurant workplace is highly desirable
