Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning cookies, ingredients to ensure timely service
Dishwashing and organizing dishes and equipment
Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to produce high-quality dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff, ensuring proper presentation and portion control
Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination




Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired items
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Skills
Experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking processes efficiently under supervision
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards customers or team members
Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Valuable organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail during food preparation and service tasks
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
