Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and hygienic
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support smooth service flow
Manage waste disposal and recycling processes to uphold environmental standards
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is required




Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance
Support overall restaurant cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and maintaining floors in kitchen and service areas

Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Familiarity with cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of food handling safety protocols and hygiene practices
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy periods
Willingness to take direction and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a lively restaurant atmosphere
