AMI Attachments Inc is a rapidly growing heavy equipment attachment manufacturer located just outside of Kitchener/Waterloo. As an industry leader in design and manufacturing, AMI works to create quality, creative, heavy equipment attachment solutions that are used in construction, mining, demolition, and the oil and gas industries throughout North America.

AMI is looking to add to their team and currently has an opening for an experienced Machine Operator for night shift. Hours of work are 5:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday to Thursday. ( Four 11 hour shifts)

JOB PURPOSE

The Machine Operator will operate a variety of machines such as Line Boring, Plasma Cutter.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience operating line boring machine or plasma cutter
Previous experience operating CNC machines is an asset such as mills, lathes
Experience with measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers
Able to read blueprints & drawings




Able to perform machine set ups, use of tools
Attention to detail - grind & ensure all parts are cleaned of debris
