Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems, work along side the QC team
Measure, cut, thread, on steel pipe to required sizes
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and valves
Hydro/Pnuematic test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment
Repair and maintain pipe systems by replacing or repairing defective parts
Collaborate with shop foreman to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to accurately measure, cut, thread, steel pipe
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths




Excellent problem solving skills to identify issues and find solutions
Solid attention to detail to ensure accurate installation of pipe, valves and fittings
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces
