We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Industrial Millwright Mechanic to join our dynamic team within the food manufacturing industry. This vital role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment to ensure seamless production operations. Duties
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of food processing machinery including conveyors, packaging equipment, pumps, motors, etc.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks based on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) schedules to minimize downtime.
Weld, fabricate, or modify parts as needed using welding equipment and mechanical tools to ensure optimal machine performance.
Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports to track repairs and identify recurring issues for continuous improvement.
Assist in training team members on machinery operation and safety procedures to foster a culture of safety awareness.
Skills
Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling maintenance tasks and recording work activities.
Skilled in welding techniques to support plant operations.
Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and efficiently.
Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
