Tire and Wheel Installer

Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable Tire and Wheel Installer to join our automotive service team. You will install, balance, and inspect tires and wheels while handling every vehicle with care.

The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and comfortable working efficiently during the busy tire season.

Responsibilities
Remove and reinstall wheel assemblies; mount and dismount tires using appropriate equipment.
Balance wheels and perform tire rotations.
Inspect tires and wheels for wear or damage and report concerns to the technician or service advisor.
Follow proper lifting procedures and manufacturer wheel torque specifications.
Protect vehicles, rims, and tires from damage throughout the service.
Identify and label tires correctly for seasonal storage.
Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
Assist technicians with basic maintenance tasks as directed.
Follow shop safety procedures and communicate promptly when a problem could delay the job.

Qualifications




Previous tire installation experience preferred; dealership experience is an asset.
Comfortable using tire mounting machines, wheel balancers, hand tools, and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and respect for clients’ vehicles.
Ability to lift and move tires and wheels safely throughout the day.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality during busy periods.
Valid driver’s licence.

Pay: $16.60-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
