Overview
We are a growing dental practice seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong accounting background, preferably with dental experience, to manage our financial records and support daily accounting operations.

Duties
Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all financial accounts.
Prepare and record journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect daily transactions accurately.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting to verify the integrity of financial data.
Support payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with governmental accounting standards.
Assist in budgeting, financial report writing, and analysis to support organizational financial planning.
Handle double-entry bookkeeping with precision, maintaining detailed documentation for audit purposes.




Collaborate on internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.

Requirements
Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, is essential.
Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, account analysis, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
Familiarity with technical accounting concepts such as double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Robust attention to detail combined with analytical thinking for account analysis and balance sheet review.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly through written reports and verbal explanations.
