Job Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Brantford, ON within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys managing the full accounts receivable cycle, supporting customer relationships, and contributing to accurate cash flow and financial reporting.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will work closely with customers, finance, sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, cash application, account maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
Manage daily banking activities, including pulling statements, applying cash receipts, preparing journal entries, uploading ACH transactions, completing wires, and processing cash payables cheques in the ERP system.




Oversee customer accounts and master data, including customer setup, pricing, rebates, credit limits, AR insurance, and account updates.
Prepare and process automated and manual invoicing, credits, intercompany chargebacks, artwork charges, part transfer invoices, and North American intercompany invoicing.
Provide front-line customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving account issues, making payment arrangements, and supporting the sales team.
Track daily cash flow, coordinate incoming receipts and payment requirements, complete AR reporting, and perform reconciliations for accounts receivable, bank accounts, and assigned general ledger accounts.
Calculate, reconcile, and submit applicable commodity taxes, including HST, while supporting audits, SOP updates, system improvements, and ad-hoc reporting.

Compensation and Benefits
Direct hire prospect.
Salary range: $65,000 to $68,000 per year.
