We are currently looking to fill a 15-month contract position at our Toronto facility and would appreciate your assistance in sourcing qualified candidates.

This role will support our R&D; team and will be heavily involved in plant trials, product testing, recipe maintenance, production support, and cross-functional collaboration with QA, Operations, Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering.

Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and executing plant trials and documenting results
Monitoring first productions of current products and supporting product quality initiatives
Supporting recipe renovations, ingredient testing, and recipe/BOM maintenance in SAP
Assisting with sensory evaluations, process validation, and production troubleshooting
Managing R&D; raw material inventory and product sample requests
Supporting food safety and quality programs, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP requirements

Candidate requirements:
Science degree (Food Science preferred)



or equivalent relevant experience
Experience in food manufacturing, product development, R&D;, QA, or a related food industry environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with data management and reporting
Detail-oriented and comfortable working in both office and plant environments
Experience with SAP, BOM management, plant trials, and food safety systems is considered an asset

Additional information:
15-month contract
Based in Toronto
Adaptable schedule may occasionally be required
Weekend support may be required during plant trials or production activities

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
