Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage preparation, and experience working in the food industry. Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, including basic math calculations
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining cleanliness of work areas
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, tables, and equipment throughout shifts




Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills
Previous barista experience or background in the food industry preferred
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Serving experience is a plus, along with familiarity with food preparation techniques
