Job Summary:
Flourist is hiring a Retail Bakery Manager to join our East Vancouver location.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily retail bakery operations and supervising a small team. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced food production and retail environment. Scheduling may include early mornings, shifts, and flexible hours based on business needs.

Job Duties:
Direct and control daily bakery retail operations
Plan, organize, and evaluate daily operational activities
Supervise staff and assign duties
Support staff training and performance monitoring
Determine staffing requirements and assist with scheduling
Maintain product quality, food safety, and workplace standards
Support customer service and retail presentation standards
Work collaboratively with production and retail teams

Experience:
1 to 2 years of experience in bakery, food service, or retail operations




Supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset
Experience working in fast-paced settings

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work on-site at the Vancouver location

Rapid-paced environment
Combination of standing, walking, and light administrative work
On-site work only. Work from home is not available

Compensation and Schedule:
$57,000 to $60,000 per year (to be negotiated based on experience)
30 to 40 hours per week
Permanent, full-time employment
Start date: As soon as possible
