We are seeking an experienced, organized and approachable leader to oversee daily centre operations, support our educators and ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for children.

Under no circumstances are we sponsoring out of country or province applicants

Applicant must have previous Childcare Supervisory Experience and have dealt with the Ministry of Education for annual inspections

Pay is negotiable depending on level and years of experience as a centre Supervisor

Must have an RECE in valuable standing with the College

Key responsibilities

● Lead, coach and supervise staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations and professional development.

● Maintain compliance with the CCEYA, Ministry licensing requirements, staff-to-child ratios and health and safety standards.

● Oversee high-quality, age-appropriate programming guided by How Does Learning Happen?

● Build robust relationships with families and respond professionally to questions and concerns.

● Maintain accurate records,



coordinate inspection readiness and manage daily operational needs.

Qualifications

● Early Childhood Education diploma or degree and current RECE registration in valuable standing.

● Minimum two years of experience in licensed childcare, with demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.

● Strong knowledge of the CCEYA, child development and Ontario’s early learning framework.

● Current Standard First Aid with Infant and Child CPR, and required Vulnerable Sector Check.

● Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Previous childcare centre management and Ministry inspection experience are assets.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
