We're looking for an upbeat and hardworking individual to fill the position of a Gas Station Attendant. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about customer service and the gas station industry, and will have prior experience working in a gas station environment. We are looking for someone who displays a commitment to customer satisfaction, but is also capable of handling a variety of tasks on their own and working effectively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Shoot the breeze with customers while they fill up their car.
Maintain a clean and well-lit station.
Communicate effectively with customers to reduce misunderstandings.
Treat each customer equally and deal with them in a fair manner.
Be friendly toward customers and never raise your voice.
Make sure gas pumps are working properly before letting a customer use them.
Ensure that restrooms are clean and stocked with toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.
Keep an eye out for suspicious people.
Keep an eye out for emergencies that may occur in the vicinity of the gas station.
Gather trash from trash bins and empty trash into dumpster or truck.
Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour
