Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
Sound skill on Kroll Software
Sound knowledge about direct billing, claims and adjudication
Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies
Process insurance claims and manage billing issues
Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and resolving issues
Help patients with medication pick-ups and drop-offs
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology




Experience or training in medication administration
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
Excellent patient care skills
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus
Speaking Spanish extra advantage

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
