Position: Senior Hardware Engineer (aerospace/avionics)
Location: Dorval, QC (Onsite)
Duration: Permanent Role
Job Description
Seeking 15+ years of engineering experience, including 10+ years in aerospace/avionics and hands‑on expertise in FPGA, ASIC, and embedded software development.
Robust knowledge of airborne certification standards including DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-330, FAA/EASA regulations, and software/hardware compliance processes.
Experience with C/C++, Ada, Assembly, Python, HDL, DOORS/JAMA, embedded architectures, RTOS, and supplier design/certification assessments.
Responsible for design reviews, technical audits, safety/compliance assessments, deficiency resolution, certification documentation, and mentoring engineering teams.
