This is a structured hybrid position which requires working in our Owatonna, MN facility: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Wednesdays and Fridays are home office workdays. Therefore, candidates must reside within reasonable drivable distance to the facility.

Project Cost Estimator
to promote sales of Wenger Corporation products on a profit basis by providing technical information, sales proposals, and bids to prospective customers.
At a minimum,



you'll need:2 years work experienceInterpersonal and communication skillsAbility to learn product/application knowledgeAbility to make decisions involving complex sales/profit relationshipsAbility to read architectural drawingsDemonstrated computer skillsAbility to prioritize work assignments and to operate with continually changing priority needs
Highly qualified candidates may also possess:A college degree
As a Project Cost Estimator, a typical day may include:Providing estimating support to assigned Sales Region(s)Supplying recommendations for product application solutions for specific project requirementsCoordinating information requests for drawings, cost estimates, etc., with other company departmentsProviding technical information and proposals for developing projectsMaking pricing decisions and estimation within prescribed limits on a project-to-project basisPreparing and distributing quotes/bids on projectsRecording and reporting bid activity in assigned regionsReviewing and negotiating customer contracts to verify accurate scope of work
