Qualicare is seeking reliable and caring Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional home care in Durham. Under supervision from the Care Coordinator, you will assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and errands. This role focuses on nurturing relationships, ensuring client comfort, and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs
• Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy environment
• Accompany clients on outings for social engagement
• Manage medication reminders and assist with mobility
Requirements:
• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent qualifications
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
