Lead our worship ministry, teams, and Sunday gatherings.Position summaryThe Worship Pastor guides a worship culture that is Christ-centred, Gospel-shaped, fresh and contemporary; oversees weekly worshipas Westwood's overseeing worship leader; identifies, equips and mentors multiple worship leaders and teams; and oversees the sound,lighting, and video teams that support worship ministry.Primary responsibilitiesLeadership (35%): develop worship vision and culture; scheduling, training, care and coaching for worship/tech volunteers; AVL resource planning.Worship leading (50%): oversee planning and execution of all Sunday services; lead worship 3 of 5 Sundays; special services (Christmas Eve, Good Friday, AGM).Career development & community engagement (10%).Other duties, administration, and worship budget oversight (5%).QualificationsStrong vocal and instrumental ability,



music theory, and music software competence.2+ years planning and leading worship and leading worship teams.Pastoral leadership, team building, and collaborative servant leadership.Some post-secondary biblical/theological education preferred.Affirms the authority of Scripture, the MB Confession of Faith, and Westwood's mission, vision, values, and bylaws; credentialed or eligible with the BCMB Conference.Compensation & benefits$70,000 annually based on full-time (pro-rated if needed).Health insurance and pension benefits; ministry expense allowance.Paid vacation, sick leave, and study leave; relocation assistance (if applicable).
