This is the perfect role for someone who's passionate about food, customer service, and creating a produce department that truly stands out.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & EngagementCreate a warm, welcoming environment by greeting and assisting customers with produce inquiriesOffer product recommendations based on seasonality, taste, preparation, and wellness goalsShare knowledge on storage techniques, ripeness, and freshness to reduce waste and improve qualityPromote new and featured products through demos, signage, and conversationMentor team members by sharing insights and leading by exampleProduct Handling & Quality AssuranceReceive and verify produce shipments, reporting any shortages or quality issuesTrim, wrap, and merchandise produce to company freshness and food safety standardsRotate and replenish stock consistently to prevent spoilage and reduce shrinkMaintain accurate inventory levels and participate in stock counts and ordering feedbackBuild compelling and organized displays that reflect seasonality and support sales goalsEnsure signage, labels,



and pricing are current and visually clearContribute creative merchandising ideas to highlight key products and local partnershipsSupport storewide campaigns and themes with fresh, on-brand displaysOperations & SustainabilityOperate equipment such as pallet jacks, knives, and scales safely and effectivelyKeep produce coolers, prep areas, and displays clean, organized, and well-stockedFollow all SOPs for receiving, storage, and temperature controlSupport sustainability efforts by minimizing waste and encouraging eco-friendly practicesTraining & ComplianceCompletion of required Lessonly training modulesOngoing participation in workshops and brand education sessions to stay current on wellness trends and company initiativesDemonstrated commitment to attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliabilityOther DutiesPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications1–2 years of experience in produce, grocery, or fresh food retail preferredDeep understanding of produce handling, ripeness, and seasonal trendsExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and merchandising presentationPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach,
