Join CMI as a Material Processor in North York, Ontario, providing top-notch customer service in our receiving yard. Support sustainable practices by grading scrap metal while ensuring a clean work workplace.
In this role, you will work Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, including every other Saturday. As a Material Processor, your expertise in hand and power tools will be essential for removing batteries, fluids, refrigerants, and tires. You will assist customers, answering their inquiries and maintaining a secure space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-level customer service upon yard entry
• Answer customer questions promptly and courteously
• Remove batteries, fluids, and other hazardous items
• Transfer removed items to designated storage locations
• Keep yard organized, clean, and safe
Requirements:
• Industrial facility experience preferred
• Proficient in using power tools
• Positive English communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills
