Take ownership as an Infrastructure Engineer at Isolocity, managing Laravel and AWS settings. Help in code infrastructure, reliability, and compliance in a fully remote position.
As a key member of Isolocity, you will lead our infrastructure for Laravel applications deployed on AWS across Canada and Europe. Bring your experience in infrastructure-as-code and disaster recovery to enhance our technical capabilities. You'll collaborate with developers, ensuring all infrastructure changes maintain the same rigor as application code.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage AWS infrastructure for Laravel applications
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Design and test backup and disaster recovery plans




• Prepare for load-balanced application tier and auto-scaling
• Execute technical aspects of SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance
Requirements:
• Experience with Linux server management in production
• Proficiency in AWS, specifically EC2 and RDS
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices
• Robust incident response experience and reporting
• Proven backups and redundancy design skills
