We collaborate with clients to enhance the communities where our friends, families, and neighbours live and work.ResponsibilitiesPrepare plan and profile drawings of municipal infrastructure, specifically municipal roadways (Open Roads and Civil 3D)Prepare municipal corridor drawings, centre line alignments and functional roadway designsPlot watermain, sanitary, and storm sewer alignmentsSizing of sanitary and storm water management facilities, SWM design and Water balance impact assessmentsComplete design calculations based on engineering principles for various municipal development projects, meeting applicable regulatory codes and standardsLiaise with municipal staff, contractors,



and the public and equipment suppliersPreparation of technical design reports and memosAttend and participate in project team meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of project deliverablesOther related duties, as assignedRequirementsDegree or Diploma in Civil Engineering; Civil Engineering Technology or equivalentMinimum of 1-3 years of related work experience, specifically with Municipal development projectsCivil 3D and AutoCAD Design experienceStrong knowledge of underground servicing and municipal road designStrong knowledge of engineering principals and design standardGeneral familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fieldsStrong technical report writing skills, as well as written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong problem solving skills accompanied by attention to detailWorking knowledge of MS Office software, including Outlook, Excel and WordFamiliarity with various civil design softwarePreliminary and Final Design of Roads, Bridges and Municipal FacilitiesServicing, Grading and Drainage DesignA solid working knowledge of water resources principles,
