We're a couple with 6 cats (but no children) that is looking for an animal-loving person to help us with daily house-cleaning, keeping our pets fed & entertained, and occasionally overnight stays when we are away. We’re looking for a dependable, experienced individual to help care for our home and cats, Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 11:30 am. (15 guaranteed hours per week). Pay is CA$32 per hour. We already have a biweekly cleaner; this role focuses on daily upkeep and cat care.Daily responsibilities include preparing each cat’s individual meals, refreshing water, cleaning four litter boxes, vacuuming the stairs, cleaning up after the cats, resetting the kitchen, taking out the garbage / recycling, laundry, and spending time playing with our cats. Once a week, we’d also like help changing and washing the primary bedroom bedding. Four of our cats roam the house. Two live in separate rooms and must be kept apart from the others.



One is shy and sensitive to stress; the other can react aggressively to unfamiliar people and needs a gradual, patient introduction. Following the closed door and feeding instructions carefully is essential. We will introduce you to each cat and train you on their routines. We occasionally need overnight cat care when we are both travelling or when taking vacation. Overnight availability is strongly preferred and would be scheduled and paid separately.Please tell us about your experience with cats, particularly shy or reactive cats; your commute to (neighbourhood or nearest major intersection) for an 8:30 a.M. start; and your overnight availability.
