Enhance your healthcare skills as a Clinical Extern in Forensic Psychiatry at St. Joseph’s Health System. Clinical Externs will assist with daily living activities under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other specialists, while gaining hands-on experience in mental health care. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in nursing or medical programs and exhibit robust clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Perform mobility assistance and vital signs checks




Document care provided and notify healthcare professionals
Engage patients socially and contribute to care planning
Support comfort measures and perform cognitive assessments Requirements:
Enrolled in RN, RPN, or medical programs
Current BLS certification
Evidence of valuable academic standing
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
