As a vital team member at The Salvation Army, you'll engage directly with Shelter Guests and tenants at the Evergreen Shelter & Apartments. This position requires solid communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on client orientation and adherence to shelter rules. You'll assist with meals, provide support, and maintain a safe atmosphere for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read HIFIS and Staff notes before each shift
• Handle client admission, orientation, and rule enforcement
• Serve as Receptionist,



answering phones promptly
• Assist with meal preparation and serving
• Complete assigned cleaning duties
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
• Food Safe Level 1 and First Aid Level 1 certification
• Valid Driver's License and clean drivers abstract
• Minimum one year's experience in Social Services
• Robust integrity and confidentiality skills
