About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and experienced Retail Sales Associate with leadership potential to join their store in Kimberley, Northern Cape . As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior sales associates. Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers by providing product information and assisting with sales.
- Exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve store goals.
- Provide training and guidance to new and junior sales staff.
- Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues promptly.




- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Contribute to creating a positive and welcoming store atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a retail sales associate (at least 3 years), with some experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
