Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Commercial transport Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various types of commercial transport vehicles and industrial equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Heavy duty Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly and safely.

Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers.
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Operate heavy equipment to test functionality after repairs are completed.
Utilize hand tools and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks.
Maintain accurate records of service work orders on each repair required .
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
Assist in heavy lifting and moving of industrial equipment as required.




Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments.

Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic, particularly with heavy truck operation and repair.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
Proficient in using hand tools, welding techniques, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $30.42-$55.00 per hour
