Creative Content Coordinator – Trinity Church
Trinity Church is on a mission to invite people to courageously follow Jesus. For 65 years we have pursued the same mission in Kelowna & beyond and we’re just getting started.

We’re looking for a Christ-centered, versatile, creative and storyteller to help shape Trinity’s digital voice and keep our messaging clear, consistent, and engaging. This role sits at the intersection of social media, content, messaging, and design. You’ll help shape how we show up across every channel, from social captions and newsletters to our website and the visuals that support them. Working closely with Trinity’s Communications Team, you’ll turn ideas into compelling content, maintain a consistent brand across every touchpoint, and help ensure the right people hear the right message at the right time.

This is a great fit for someone who loves variety, works collaboratively, thinks in both words and visuals, and wants to play an important creative role in shaping how an organization sounds and looks to the world.

Requirements and Qualifications
What You Bring

Experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field.

Strong writing skills, with the ability to write copy and adapt tones across channels.

Working knowledge of design tools (Adobe Creative Suite & Canva at minimum).

Comfort managing a WordPress site; deeper web/UX experience is a plus.

A sharp eye for visual consistency, grammar, and brand quality.

Insight into various current design styles that target specific audiences across ages and ethnicities.

Highly organized & adaptable; able to juggle a content calendar, a newsletter schedule, and design requests without dropping the ball.

A collaborative, low-ego attitude; this role touches a lot of moving parts and works best with someone who communicates well and is a great team player.

Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy, Management & Alignment

This is our church’s front door. Leading our digital voice with clarity, creativity, and conviction.

Own social media strategy and content calendars across all platforms and profiles, including main, youth, young adults, and kids.

Plan, create, schedule, and post content reflecting our voice, vision, brand, and priorities; collaborate with the Communications Manager and Videographer on graphics and video.

Monitor engagement and analytics, respond to comments and DMs, and provide light community support.

Keep messaging and branding aligned across platforms so our voice feels like one voice, everywhere.

Newsletter & Key Messaging Support
Supporting the creation of detailed, engaging invitations for our audience to courageously take their next step in following Jesus.

Support the church-wide family newsletter, from planning through delivery, including writing, design, database management, and distribution.

Craft captions, scripts, website, and other outwardfacing copy with a consistent tone and message.

Translate Trinity’s priorities into clear, compelling next steps.

Graphic Design Support
Contribute to creativity, clarity, and excellence in every visual asset.

Support the Communications Team on design projects as assigned.

Adapt design and tone for audiences of all ages.

Help maintain visual brand consistency across every touchpoint.

Bring fresh ideas to the table. You’re a creative partner, not just an executor!

Events Calendar Management
Make sure people know what’s coming up and compel them to want to be there.

Manage the events calendar and communicate key upcoming events across channels.

Build simple promotional plans so important events get the visibility they need.

Coordinate timing with the broader team so nothing important slips through the cracks.

Environmental Brand Support
Be a collaborative guardian of consistency, on-screen and across the physical campus.

Ensure our brand voice and style guide remain consistent across social media, website, and newsletter.

Monitor physical and digital spaces to keep messaging and printed materials aligned with our standards of excellence and presentation.

Website Management & Optimization
Monitor, maintain, develop, and expand our digital capacity.

Oversee day-to-day website administration and maintenance.

Work comfortably within WordPress and general website backend structures.

Bonus: deeper web development, UX/UI, or backend design experience (not required, but a strong advantage).

Creative Collaboration
Strengthen the team through creativity and teamwork.

Partner with the Communications Team on initiatives from concept through execution.

Bring energy and ideas to brainstorms and planning sessions.

Jump in wherever a creative hand is needed!
