Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Mechanical Estimator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for electrical and mechanical systems on a variety of construction projects. Duties

Prepare detailed electrical and mechanical project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents.

Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam to develop accurate cost projections and manage bid packages efficiently.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms.

Review subcontractor proposals, evaluate pricing accuracy, and incorporate competitive bids into overall project estimates.





Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs for electrical and mechanical systems using digital tools like Bluebeam or manual methods when necessary.

Assist in project management tasks by tracking bid progress, updating estimates, and ensuring alignment with project timelines.

Maintain organized records of all estimates, pricing data, and correspondence for future reference and audits.

Skills

Proficiency in construction estimating software

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within the construction industry.

Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.

Solid understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and industry best practices.

Experience with Bluebeam for digital takeoffs, markup reviews, and document management.

Effective project management capabilities to coordinate multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Exceptional communication skills to clearly present estimates and collaborate with diverse teams.
