Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Administrator with 8 years of experience in Tableau platform administration support monitoring and performance Eligible to workimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Tableau environments ensuring platform stability security scalability and user support. Experience in Power BI Administration is highly desirable to support the organizations broader BI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Administer configure and maintain Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud settings.
Manage Tableau upgrades patches migrations and server health monitoring.
Configure and maintain user authentication authorization and security models.
Monitor server performance capacity planning and system availability.
Troubleshoot Tableau server issues extract refresh failures scheduling issues and performance bottlenecks.
Implement backup recovery disaster recovery and high-availability strategies.
Collaborate with developers business users infrastructure and security teams to ensure platform reliability.
Support deployment of Tableau workbooks data sources projects and permissions management.
Maintain operational documentation runbooks and administration standards.
Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support and participate in on-call rotations when required.
Automate administrative tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell Python or Tableau REST APIs.
