Mechanic – Heavy Vehicles and Specialized TrailersWe're looking for an experienced mechanic with rigorous diagnostic skills to join our dynamic team at our Dorval workshop. Under the supervision of our workshop foreman. You'll participate in the maintenance and repair of our fleet of more than 90 units, including heavy trucks, towing equipment, and various types of specialized trailers (flatbed, tractor-trailer, landoll, etc.).Duties and responsibilitiesPerform inspection, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs on:Heavy trucks (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, etc.)Towing equipment (hydraulic systems, winches, tow arms, etc.)Specialized trailers (axles, braking systems, chassis, hydraulic systems,



and winches)Diagnose mechanical failures and propose effective solutionsUse electronic diagnostic tools to detect complex faultsTrack repairs and maintenance using our mechanical workshop management software (MIR).Work in collaboration with the foreman and other members of the mechanical team.Maintain a clean, secure working environment that complies with health and safety standards.RequirementsSignificant experience in heavy truck mechanics (minimum 3 years)Proficiency in mechanical and electronic diagnosticsKnowledge of hydraulic systems, winches, and specialized equipment (major asset)Vocational diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent training (an asset)Valid driver's license (Class 1 an asset)What we offerCompetitive salary based on experienceWell-equipped workshop with specialized toolsGood organization supervised by an experienced foreman
