Key Responsibilities:
• Check plans for compliance with building codes and bylaws
• Prepare and issue building permits using specified software
• Answer inquiries regarding regulations and permit applications




• Maintain and file records and documentation
• Assist and train junior plan checkers as needed

Requirements:
• Diploma in Building Technology or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of municipal bylaws and construction practices
• Ability to interpret detailed building plans
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License in BC
