You will collaborate with supervising therapists to assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals in a variety of settings including client homes, their local community, community centres, gyms, public libraries, etc. in Ottawa Central or East End.



You will assist in the delivery of individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning of supervising therapists. You will liaise with a variety of community partners and rehab professionals (OTs, PTs, SLPs, SWs, etc.) to facilitate client goals and independence.**This is a remote role that requires travel to clients' homes.Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma from a recognized community college, or other equivalentTwo years of relevant OTA/PTA experience is requiredKnowledge of the rehabilitation approach to client care and the roles of OT, PT and SLPExperience with rehabilitation services (hospital, clinic, community), pool therapy and/or personal training certifications are all assetsExcellent computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)Great interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work with different personality typesA valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehiclePlease note you will be fully supported by Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Social Workers and other allied health professionals.Who Are We?Work with a healthcare organization that has over 25 years of stability in the industry!
