Join the Clearwater Community YMCA as a Youth Support Worker, where you'll empower vulnerable youth through life skills and community support. This full time role focuses on educational attainment and personal growth.

As part of the Settlement Workers in Schools Program, you'll create youth-centered plans and facilitate impactful workshops. Your role includes providing one-on-one counseling, coordinating peer mentorship, and evaluating program outcomes. You'll engage with youth in schools and community spaces to foster a supportive environment tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build trusting relationships with youth through a strengths-based approach
• Provide emotional regulation support and goal setting
• Plan group workshops on resilience and coping skills




• Track personal goals through regular coaching sessions
• Complete intake assessments with youth-friendly methods

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Child and Youth Care or related field
• 2 years of experience with vulnerable youth
• Valid driver’s license and clear abstract
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility for evening and weekend work
