KPMG's Technology Risk Services team is seeking Senior Consultants to join its Toronto practice. The role focuses primarily on IT risk reviews and IT internal audit support across areas such as data governance, system asset management, IT projects and information security.
What you will do Assess IT risks and controls for internal and external audit and assurance engagements, including IT general controls.
Review data governance, system implementations, third-party management, system asset management tools and information security topics.
Develop risk and control matrices, review procedures and advise on business process controls.
Plan and monitor engagements, conduct quality reviews and manage multiple client engagements.
Conduct research, technical testing and interviews; prepare reports and communicate with clients.
Support business development and client relationships, and guide and mentor junior staff and campus hires.




What you bring Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Two to five years of relevant experience assessing IT or business process risk, ideally in a large consulting practice.
Experience with IT general controls and controls-based audits; certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT or ISO 27001 are relevant.
Experience evaluating data governance, system asset tooling, IT projects or IT governance is an asset.
Robust communication, organization, attention to detail and understanding of business and audit risks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally.
Compensation Expected base salary is $63,500 to $97,000 per year, with possible eligibility for bonus awards. Salary depends on location, skills, competencies and qualifications.
