This Fleet Technician role reports to the Supervisor of Mechanical Repair. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and service a range of city vehicles, utilizing advanced diagnostic software like Cummins Insite and Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link. The position requires hands-on maintenance and inspections, contributing directly to public service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair city vehicles and equipment
• Conduct mandatory commercial vehicle inspections




• Utilize OEM software for troubleshooting issues
• Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections
• Operate and maintain shop tools and equipment

Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Truck and Coach Technician’s Licence (310T)
• Experience with diesel exhaust systems
• In-depth knowledge of key diagnostic software
• Previous fleet repair experience
• Ability to handle heavy tools and work outdoors
