Hatch is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Designer to innovate in the field of technology. Join Hatch's Equipment Technologies Team to create mechanical layouts and engineering designs.
In this role, you'll collaborate with innovators to deliver specialized engineering solutions across various sectors including Metals, Energy, and Infrastructure. Your design expertise will be vital during conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering phases while guiding less experienced team members in a supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide design input throughout the project lifecycle
• Produce mechanical layouts, models, and drawings
• Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, and manufacturability
• Support and direct junior designers in their tasks
• Participate in engineering reviews and site visits
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years in mechanical design or engineering
• Experience with Siemens Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or equivalent
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 2D drafting tools
• Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
