As an Instructor in Carpentry, you will guide learners through apprenticeship and pre-employment programming. With a minimum of three years post-Journeyperson experience, you will plan, prepare, and deliver courses that include both theoretical and practical components. Your role interacts with students, community stakeholders, and other College departments, ensuring an enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in a classroom and lab setting
• Foster a positive learning environment for students




• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
• Evaluate student progress and report findings
• Liaise with community and industry representatives

Requirements:
• Alberta Journeyperson Certificate in Carpentry
• Three years post-Journeyperson work experience
• Experience teaching or mentoring adults
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Clean vulnerable sector criminal record check
