Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager/Leader will plan, lead, and manage complex multi-year, multi-ministry projects involving advanced telecommunications, audio/visual, and IT systems.

This role requires overseeing project teams, managing client relationships, coordinating procurement, and ensuring successful delivery of technically sophisticated audio-visual and network infrastructure solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage large-scale, multi-ministry projects involving network architecture and audio/visual systems.

Develop project charters, master plans, and work breakdown structures.

Manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues as needed.

Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, vendors, and contractors.

Coordinate procurement activities including negotiation and contract administration.

Oversee quality assurance, system testing, and client handover processes.

Prepare business cases and submissions for senior-level decision-making.

Conduct lessons-learned sessions and participate in service review meetings.

Required Skills: Minimum 5 years' experience in audio-visual and videoconferencing technology.

At least 10 years of project management experience managing complex IT and AV projects.

Robust knowledge of project management methodologies and change management principles.

Expertise in procurement planning and contract negotiation.

Proficient in risk management and resource allocation.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Experience preparing business cases and senior management presentations.





Understanding of IT security, technical standards, and emerging AV and IT technologies.

Desired Skills: Experience in public sector or justice sector environments.

Familiarity with multi-platform I⁢ technology and converged communications systems.

Knowledge of software development methodologies and cloud technologies.

Skills in GUI design and user adoption planning including training and documentation.

Experience with high availability and secure hosting solutions.

Ability to manage financial controls and budget forecasting.

Prior experience in the public sector or justice sector is an asset.

Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.
