Join Bird as a Holder of Record in Work Protection, based at Pickering and Darlington nuclear sites. This critical role focuses on ensuring the safety of field activities through adherence to nuclear safety standards.

As a Holder of Record, you will report to the Work Protection Coordinator and oversee the safety of your Work Group by enforcing approved Work Protection procedures. Your responsibilities will include confirming work areas, communicating safety requirements, and monitoring compliance throughout the execution phase. Utilize your strong communication skills and keen attention to detail to ensure safe operations in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and accept Work Protection Permit documentation
• Communicate permit conditions and safety requirements clearly




• Monitor conditions in Protected Work Areas to ensure compliance
• Assess and authorize test activities under Work Protection
• Conduct field walkdowns to verify equipment safety

Requirements:
• Experience in nuclear or industrial settings
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and permit systems
• Excellent communication skills with field teams
• Attention to detail in monitoring compliance
• Ability to obtain nuclear site access and security clearance
