Electrical Engineering Supervisor Calgary, AB | Full-Time | On-Site Actalent is partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and designers supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex electrical systems and industrial control solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader who enjoys balancing technical problem-solving, team development, and project execution within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Electrical and Controls Engineers and designers.

Oversee electrical system design, documentation, testing, and implementation activities.

Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Project Management, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Support the development and maintenance of industrial control systems and electrical equipment.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.

Support project execution from concept through implementation and operational handover.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. . designation or eligibility for registration with APEGA.



5+ years of engineering experience with demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

Experience with electrical system design and industrial control systems.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.

Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered product environments.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and project leadership abilities.

Preferred Experience Industrial automation and controls.

Product development or engineered equipment.

Electrical panel design and control systems integration.

Cross-functional project leadership.

Experience supporting products through the full lifecycle from design through production.
