Position Summary SPAN 111: Introductory Spanish I Focuses on the acquisition of basic skills of pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversation, for students with little or no Spanish experience.
Includes instruction in basic grammar, syntax, and vocabulary for culturally appropriate interaction.
Position Requirements • At least a B.A. in a related discipline. • Native or near-native fluency in the target language as well as in English. • Experience and evidence of teaching ability in the relevant language.
Applicants with more teaching experience in the area in question, at the university level, will normally have preference over others.
