Job Description WHAT’S THE JOB? We are looking for a talented, passionate, and dependable Baker / Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in baking and pastry preparation, takes pride in quality and presentation, and enjoys working in a fast-paced professional kitchen.

Your work will include: Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, desserts, cakes, and other baked goods Develop and execute daily baking and dessert menus.

Preparing and baking goods from scratch Restocking pastry shelves and maintaining a sufficient and fresh supply of baked goods Maintain consistent quality, flavour, freshness, and presentation.

Ensuring consistent quality standard in over-all food preparation as per clients’ requirements including consideration to special dietary constraints Complying with food hygiene regulations in accordance with Food Safety Act Cleaning, washing,

Minimum 3 years’ baking experience in a restaurant or hotel/institutional environment Proven experience preparing baked goods for large number of guests Ability to stand for a long period of time and lift up to 35 pounds Solid knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert presentation.
