Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Microservices Designer to help design modern enterprise applications both back-end and front-end architecture.

This role requires someone with deep Java and microservices expertise who can also design front-end solutions and understand how AI capabilities can be incorporated into enterprise applications and workflows.

The successful candidate will help define how applications should be architected end-to-end, make key technical design decisions, and provide direction to development teams.

Key Responsibilities
-Design scalable enterprise applications across back-end services, APIs, integrations, and front-end layers.
-Lead the design of Java/Spring Boot microservices and service-to-service communication.
-Define front-end architecture, application structure, integration patterns, and interaction with back-end APIs.
-Establish API-first design principles and reusable integration patterns.
-Design event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
-Make architectural decisions around scalability, resiliency, security, performance, and maintainability.
-Provide technical direction to developers and review solution designs.
-Work with architecture, engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
-Identify where AI capabilities can be integrated into applications, APIs, and business workflows.
-Design solutions that support containerized and cloud-native deployment models.
-Incorporate authentication, authorization, API security, observability, logging, monitoring, and automated testing into application designs.
-Support CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.

Skills and Requirements




-Experience with Java/Spring Boot architecture and microservices design on the back-end .( most important)
-Ability to design end-to-end solutions across front end, APIs, microservices, and integrations.
-Experience with REST APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, and API security within microservices based applications
-Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
-Understanding of scalability, resiliency, performance, logging, and monitoring.
-Experience providing technical design guidance to development teams.
-Understanding of AI and Generative AI, including integrating AI/LLMs into applications, APIs, and workflows.
- banking experience or understanding of financial applications
-Experience with front-end architecture and design, including React or Angular.
-Knowledge of AI governance, security, and data privacy.
