Location: CanadaEmployment Type: Full time, On-SitePosition Summary:We’re sourcing an experienced High-Rise Structural Site Superintendent for an established and well-respected GC.This position is responsible for managing site operations across high-rise residential and mixed-use projects. You’ll coordinate trades, suppliers, and site personnel while ensuring construction is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, on budget and to the required quality standards.The ideal candidate brings at least eight years of construction experience, including supervising high-rise or complex multi-family projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead daily construction activities for high-rise residential and/or mixed-use projectsCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site personnel, deliveries, equipment, and project logisticsDevelop and manage short-term schedules, sequencing plans, manpower requirements, and critical site activitiesMonitor construction progress against the project schedule and identify potential delays before they affect key milestonesReview architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and site instructionsIdentify and resolve constructability issues, trade conflicts, scope gaps, and field coordination challengesConduct regular inspections to confirm workmanship, quality standards, and compliance with project requirementsEnforce site-specific health and safety policies, regulatory requirements, and safe work practicesCoordinate inspections with consultants, engineers, municipal authorities, and other project stakeholdersLead site meetings, trade coordination meetings, toolbox talks, and daily planning discussionsMaintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, deficiency lists, progress photographs, and other site documentationCollaborate with project managers to manage schedules, procurement requirements, change conditions, and cost exposureSupport project turnover, commissioning, deficiency completion,



occupancy, and closeout activitiesCommunicate professionally with residents, neighbours, consultants, inspectors, and surrounding stakeholdersPromote accountability, cooperation, and continuous improvement across the site teamQualifications & Experience:5+ years of construction experience in the concrete/structural settingPrevious experience as a Site Superintendent or in a comparable site leadership positionDemonstrated experience supervising high-rise residential, mixed-use, or large-scale multi-family constructionStrong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, building codes, quality requirements, and safety regulationsAbility to interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and specificationsExperience coordinating multiple trades through complex structural, building-envelope, interior, and closeout activitiesAbility to manage project schedules, track progress, allocate site resources, and support cost controlProficiency with construction management software, digital documentation platforms, and standard office applicationsCanadian construction experience is considered an assetA relevant trades background, technical diploma, or construction-related degree is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be consideredDecisive site leadership and strong field judgmentExcellent planning, organization, and schedule-management skillsStrong understanding of high-rise construction sequencing and trade coordinationAbility to identify problems early and drive practical solutionsClear communication with trades, consultants, inspectors, and project managementStrong conflict-resolution and accountability skillsConsistent attention to safety, quality, documentation, and project milestonesProfessional, collaborative, and results-oriented approachIf you’re a Structural Site Superintendent with the experience to control a complex site, lead trades effectively, and deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule, then let’s connect.#J-18808-Ljbffr
