Responsibilities

- Oversee daily deli operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage purchasing and merchandising activities to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and promotional displays
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience through excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Monitor sales performance,



analyze sales data, and implement marketing initiatives to boost department revenue
- Proven supervising or management experience in retail or food service environments, preferably within a deli or grocery setting
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage store operations confidently
- Proficiency in math for cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks; strong time management skills are essential
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation
